He didn’t condemn wealth nor condone it. Jesus hugn out with rich and poor alike. He had dinner with the wealthy, the elite, the poor and the social outcasts.
He warned about the deceitfulness of wealth. See Mathew 19:23.
He cared about how wealth was used. Do we use wealth to bring honor to the King of Kings, or is it for our benefit and comfort alone? Look how He handled the woman who lavishly poured expensive perfume on his feet.
He commended wealth used for eternal impact. See Luke 16, the parable of the shrewd steward.
