His Life is Mine

If we are DEAD in our transgressions and sins (Ephesians 2), AND if Christ is ALIVE in us (Ephesians 3:17), then whose identity do we have?

In heaven’s accounting, Christ provides His life in the place of my own. The reason that the riches and power of God are mine is that Christ grants me His identity. I am a co-heir with Christ of the love and riches of our Father. Christ’s blood redeems me from the debt of my sin, and His righteousness provides me with the riches of His holiness and inheritance.

His life is mine.
