God Wants Us Fearless and Bold

“Be strong and of good courage,” is repeated in Joshua 1:6, 7, 9, and 18.

Courage and enthusiasm are necessary qualifications for successful work in the Lord’s service.

God does not use the person that is always looking on the dark side.

The moment we get our eyes on God and remember who He is, that He has all the power in earth and heaven, then we will have good courage.

It took Moses 40 years on the back side of a desert to learn this.  Elijah had courage against the prophets of Baal but when Jezebel sent a message to him he took his eyes off the Lord and he got afraid.

That’s the trouble with most Christians today: we get frightened to speak to others about their souls.

God could only use the apostles because they were fearless and bold.
