The Christian life is a battle. The residue of the old nature persists (even though it is dead). The old man’s patterns of thought, word, and deed have placed deep ruts in our lives. Until we are with the Lord, we will struggle with aspects of our fallen nature. No one who struggles against sin is unique or strange or alone.
What is the cost of timidity? What are the rewards of being bold? He who hesitates is lost. Not to decide is to decide.
What would I do if I were ten times bolder? What has it cost me in my life when I was not bold?
